Relax and Let the Mind, Body and Soul be One through Reiki Meditation:
For
Reiki
meditation is practiced to relax the body
of a person and to promote enlightenment and growth
spiritually. Many people who have done Reiki
meditations have experienced feeling younger,
more active and able to cope with stress a lot easier.
Reiki
meditation is also a big help in self-healing.
Setting aside five to ten minutes a day can be very
beneficial already. It may even let the body, mind
and soul feel five to fifteen years younger. It may
even make you feel healthier.
Here
is a short guide on how a Reiki meditation
is done:
1) Find a comfortable
position, either sitting down or standing up.
2) Imagine a Reiki symbol on your mind or visualize
a white light, then say the mantra 3 times.
3) Keeping your palms up, slowly raise your arms from
your side keeping them straight and slowly breathing
in.
4) Feel the energy around you.
5) Close your eyes, feel the vibrations in your hand
as you slowly lower them and the Gassho in front of
your face.
6) While keeping your fingers straight, level the
tip of your middle fingers in the height of your 6th
chakra.
7) Imagine that you are breathing through your hands
while at the same time breathing naturally.
8) Keep this position for some time while relaxing.
9) Lower your dominant hand in your lap, palm up and
loosely opened, then slowly raise your other hand
pointed straight to the air.
10) Try to feel the energy enter your raised hand
and exit through your lowered hand.
11) Then lower your other hand.
12) Sense the universal love around you, do this as
long as you like.
Doing
Reiki meditations will cleanse your
mind from the stress it has received. Doing so will
make you feel healthy and intone with yourself.
