Undergo Reiki Training to Be a Certified Reiki Master
Energy medicine is not a new field; in fact, it is what dominated the medical circuits in the ancient times. People believed that the body has its own energy that can heal itself and others. With the right training and the right mind set, anyone can perform medical practices.
But with the new discoveries of medical science, these beliefs have slowly waned and have been replaced by medicines, immunizations and surgical procedures.
The resurgence though of energy medicine, Reiki, an ancient Japanese technique of laying hands to heal and relax a person, has enjoyed increasing popularity. So much so that not only the clientele number is rising, but the Reiki practitioners as well.
Many people who have experienced Reiki and have sworn to its effectiveness have gone on to become Reiki masters as well. They are able to do so because Reiki training is now widely available in the United States.
But not all can be a true Reiki Master. Some have even left their Reiki training before they could even get truly started.
This is because learning and practicing Reiki requires one to respect the technique, the tradition, the process and the training. A person should have an open heart and an open mind to do so.
Three Levels
Reiki training is composed of three levels. Each level has different lessons and time frame to finish. The methods are also different from different Reiki training schools or centers. Completing the three levels of Reiki Training plus a one year internship with a Reiki Master can make a person a Reiki Master him or herself.
