Who is the Reiki Master?
In our quest to understanding more about the Japanese ancient alternative healing, Reiki, we are bound to ask the question "who is the Reiki Master?" Knowing about the healing is not enough as there should also be a more profound knowledge of who is this master that you so securely entrust your healing and rejuvenation to.
Reiki is basically comprised of three different levels which define and measure the proficiency level of the one into the healing. Reiki’s three levels are as follows:
• First Degree Reiki or the initial stage of learning the art or craft of Reiki. Those in this level may be pertained to as students.
• Second Degree Reiki or the stage in which the student becomes a Reiki practitioner. This is because he has now acquired the necessary knowledge of Reiki and has completed the attunements that are required to heal his own self or others as well.
• Third Degree or the Reiki Master is the highest level of all. The individual bestowed this title has received the Master symbols which proves that he has the deepest possible understanding of Reiki and having done so may be very well capable to teach Reiki to other students.
They who possess the most intense awareness of Reiki and are able to master its symbols and attunements – they are the masters. Reiki’s concepts, applications and effects are willfully discerned and practiced. However, being a master does not mean that all process of learning is stopped in fact it is an ongoing process of learning and honing. The energies that become available to a Reiki Master can be overwhelmingly great that if he stops and rest on his laurel he may be doomed to becoming unable to equate it with the needed efficiency in healing performance. Reiki opens to him the potentially unlimited world of healing.
A wise master considers all the aspects of the Reiki energy containing and generating unlimited love, joy, peace, compassion, wisdom and abundance. You see, Reiki is not only for healing but for the generating of such positive energies as well. A master should be keen on this fact and possibility and hence be able to promote such healing and positivity to others and to his own self. He is also equipped and guided with the right rationality to making wiser and better decisions in different aspects of his life (career, home, relationship and the likes).
Why aspire to become a master in Reiki? A master is recipient to a deeper healing and a great power to connect and heal others as well and never limiting to only this but embracing a more knowledgeable and manageable life. So don’t ever, even for a moment, be dubious when people ask "who is the Reiki Master?" and instead make that title yours.
